About the talk
Managers and entrepreneurs struggle to envision the future they would do business in a society more characterized by Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity. The VUCA perspective calls for different approaches to tackle societal challenges. Thus, experimentation practices and mindset are needed as capabilities that managers or entrepreneurs should master. The talk aims at sharing how experimentation is a practice of design and how companies and individuals can and should adopt such an approach in their daily activities.

Stefano Magistretti è docente di Agile Innovation nell'area Innovation and Design Management della School of Management del Politecnico di Milano e ricercatore senior nel LEADIN'Lab, il Laboratorio di LEAdership, Design e Innovazione. All'interno della School of Management, ricopre il ruolo di Research Director per l'Osservatorio Design Thinking for Business dalla sua fondazione nel 2017. Ha pubblicato articoli per conferenze e un capitolo in un libro edito, oltre più di 20 articoli accademici in riviste come Journal of Product Innovation Management, Industrial Marketing Management, Long Range Planning e molte altre.
